Plug-in socket lamps
Plug-in socket lamps are common in work and ceiling luminaires, for example. A magnetic ballast forms a magnetic field in the fluorescent tube’s iron core which, when discharged, generates a high voltage and turns on the lamp. The function of the ballast is to limit the current flow. The products are packed in cardboard boxes that clearly present the product information. The colour temperatures are warm white, pure white and cool white (2700 K/3000 K/4000 K).
