Airam Electric Oy Ab is a Finnish family-owned company traditionally known for its comprehensive range of light bulbs. In addition to lamps, we offer a wide selection of luminaires and smart lighting solutions for electrical professionals and consumers. Our product range also includes electrical accessories, decorative lighting and leisure products.

We have the expertise and commitment to serve professional lighting projects of various scales – from design and quotation to commissioning. In professional lighting matters, you can contact either our regional field sales team or our project sales team.
Our central warehouse, customer service and showroom serve professional lighting customers and wholesalers from a logistically central location in Kerava. Airam products are available in well-stocked department stores, grocery stores, hardware stores, electrical retailers and electrical wholesalers.
Airam’s head office and logistics centre are located in Kerava, the luminaire factory in Lahti, and our Stockholm office focuses on local sales and export.
Guidance, advice and bright inspiration
Founded in 1921, Airam is only a few years younger than independent Finland. Over the past hundred years, Finland has developed from an agricultural society into a high-tech industrial nation – home to the world’s happiest people.
During the same period, the way light is produced and used has evolved. In the 1920s, incandescent bulbs were screwed into luminaires in homes and factories. In the 2020s, smartphone-controlled smart LED bulbs create atmosphere in homes, while LED luminaires illuminate factory halls – making lamp replacement a thing of the past

CEO
Kari is responsible for Airam Electric and the Group, including the subsidiary in Sweden. He assumed his position on 1 January 2024.
Ville Keinänen
Business (Pro) and Technology Director
Ville is responsible for sales, marketing and product portfolio for electrical professionals, as well as Airam’s technical expertise. He joined Airam in 2016.
Susanna Rantala
Business (Retail) and Marketing Director
Susanna is responsible for sales, and product portfolio for consumers and retail customers. She also oversees marketing and the Airam brand. She joined Airam in 2026.
Ilkka Laijoki
Chief Financial Officer
Ilkka is responsible for finance, administration, IT and real estate. He joined Airam in 2023.
Pekka Molarius
Supply Chain Director
Pekka is responsible for the Lahti luminaire factory, the Kerava logistics centre, as well as purchasing and customer service. He joined Airam in 2023.
