Decorate your home with design luminaires made at Airam’s Lahti factory

10.2.2026

Our range of interior luminaires expanded in the autumn. At the Habitare trade fair, we launched the domestically manufactured luminaire families Airam Karisto® and Airam Laune®. The luminaires are designed by the Finnish design studio Pentagon Design. They are manufactured at Airam’s production facility in Lahti, Finland. All luminaires in these product families carry the Key Flag and Design from Finland labels.

The Airam Karisto® and Airam Laune® product families include a table lamp and two pendant lamp sizes (Ø 350 mm and Ø 560 mm). The luminaires are available in three colours: white, dark grey pearl, and vanilla yellow.
All luminaires in both series have been awarded the Key Flag and Design from Finland labels.

The design is rooted in Nordic interior style. It is combined with Airam’s practical and timeless design language.
At the same time, the products have been optimised for manufacturing using the existing machinery at Airam’s Lahti factory.

“We wanted to design luminaires that last from room to room and from home to home. They are made to suit different stages of life. These luminaires are made for living – not just for interior trends,” says Sauli Suominen, founder and Design Director of Pentagon Design.

The goal is to bring an iconic Finnish design product to the market. It is also intended to be accessible to many in terms of price.

Choose the E27 light source that suits you

The luminaires are equipped with an E27 lamp holder. This allows you to choose a light source that best suits your interior. Our standard lamp series include Onni with warm white light (2700 K), Oiva with white light (3000 K), and Otso with cool white light (4000 K). These lamps have recently been updated with full glass bulbs. This makes them a particularly beautiful choice for open luminaires.

We also recommend exploring adjustable lighting. For example, various 3-step lamps can be dimmed or their colour temperature adjusted in steps. This is done simply by clicking a standard light switch.
