We comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). We collect and process customer information in order to be able to offer our customers benefits and to serve them in the best possible way, clearly and openly.

Purpose of register

The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation obliges the data controller to keep information about where the data has been received from. The register of Airam's customer information system is based on the customer register, customer relationship, a person’s professional title or employment relationship collected for the purposes of Airam’s customer relations. Personal data is collected for a certain explicit and legal purpose with the consent of the customers and stakeholders.

Only business customers are registered in our customer information system. The register is only used to manage the customer relationship (e.g. product deliveries and invoicing) and for marketing (newsletters and online store). Airam does not collect information on private individuals for marketing purposes.
Data contained in the register
The register contains the personal data of Airam’s customers, which is:

  • contact information
  • information based on the customer relationship

Disclosure of information

Airam has made the decision not to disclose information in its possession to third parties or automatically to other Airam partners.

In some cases, there may be a need to transfer information to a third party, for example for the purposes of storage, analysis or marketing. For these purposes, we only use trusted partners with which we have concluded comprehensive data protection and data processing agreements. These agreements take into account the requirements set in legislation and the GDPR.

Airam’s partners are not authorised to use the information for their own purposes or to distribute it further.
Deletion of information and right of inspection
The customer has the right

  • to check the data concerning him/her stored in the register
  • to find out about the data concerning him/herself contained in the records
  • to update or delete data.

The customer may, at any time, remove him/herself from our e-mail list and refuse our electronic direct marketing via a link in the electronic newsletter. If you wish to check your data, please send such a request in writing and signed to the address Airam Electric Oy Ab, Asiakastietojärjestelmä, Sementtitehtaankatu 6, 04260 Kerava. We shall endeavour to handle such requests within a reasonable period of time.

Airam will also, on its own initiative, delete customer data from the register once the processing of such data is no longer justified from a business point of view.
