Pinea R is a general-purpose luminaire for dry indoor areas, manufactured from renewable and recycled materials. The luminaire emits cool white light (4000 K) and offers a lifetime of up to 30,000 hours. Thanks to the responsible material choices and excellent energy efficiency, the product has a smaller carbon footprint than traditional comparable luminaires. The housing is made in Finland from a wood composite consisting of cellulose fibre and a biopolymer derived from renewable materials. The raw materials come from side streams and residues of the wood and pulp industries. Designed in Kerava, the Pinea R housing and diffuser are pressed in Finland, and the final assembly takes place at Airam’s Lahti factory – the product carries the Key Flag symbol.
